September 11th

The anniversary went unnoticed at work. Not by me of course.
Not much to say, just thinking about that morning, what I saw and felt and who I spoke with.

I am in Dubai, there are no politics here, just work and play and the Quran. I am very safe.

Never forget. Don’t worry, I will not. I know very well what I have in my blessing of birth as a US Citizen. I remember it every day, not just today. I am an Expatriate. I know where my loyalty lies. I know where home is. I know who makes the tough calls. I know who fight for what is right and pays for it with blood and souls. I am very clear on that. I am crystal clear on that.

There is a flag on my wall. I am a lucky man. It reminds me. It is very simple. And if you have a fucking problem with that I have news for you, I am an army of one I will not tolerate your shit. So show some respect and count your blessings.
