Thursday Night Live in Dubai

Being in HR sometimes has its privileges. Like free tickets. Viviane and I went to a concert called the Oz Café. It was labeled as a sneak preview performance of Jon Stevens the new singer for INXS. The place was full of Aussies as you would guess. MMI was there, and for those of you not familiar with the UAE, that means it was a wet event. It was in an open grass area at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel just opposite the Burj Al Arab. It started at sundown. The show turned out to be kick ass. The band and the singer were solid. Totally mixed crowd as expected in Dubai. Well behaved kids hanging out with their Aussie MILFs. It was a warm night. Chicken shawarma, hot dogs and burgers, egg rolls, and Chinese noodles. Bottles beers were 25 AED and a Vodka Cranberry were 30. But the dudes were pouring strong (Rare in DXB.) Vivi had no idea how much she drank until the show was over. She was in alpha.
