Hey Nick and Kelly…

So I am driving home from work today and all of the hip hop radio stations that I poison myself with on a daily basis were all playing Classical Music. Well, this is not good. Why is this? Nick and Kelly know… Yes, some one died. Not just a normal mortal, but a Royal.

In the UAE when someone dies, and that person is (a male) and is a member of the Royal Family, then there is a restriction on outward expressions of celebratory behavior. The first clue that there was a passing in the Royals is all the radio stations change their format. So as I drove home and I searched for “Halo” or “Fill me Cum Bucket” on Pop Radio, I discover that it was all literally the same song. No words. All instrumental. Written by a European (German or Austrian.)
Bingo! Somebody died.

This is not funny. It is just fascinating to a Westerner who learns about this event not by being told but rather by not hearing the news and by not hearing Hip Hop garbage that I was anticipating for my daily commute.

Yep, I remember us in the Mall parking lot and questioning the music.
The was an incident at the highschool and a student took a photo on the camera, text'd it to everyone in his contacts, including a parent, who sent it to his buddy on the school board, who sent it to the Vice Principal of the school. By the time the teacher reported it to the office, the Vice Principal already knew via the other information source...so it happens all over!
