Phoenix Rising
Life is good in the Valley of the Sun. The Arizona Cardinals are going to the Super Bowl. Unbelievable! Being a Cardinals fan is not easy, it is very painful actually. I remember walking to games when they played in Sun Devil Stadium and the place was 1/3 full. They were the league embarrassment. Thank God for revenue sharing, the Cards were not generating too much capital at the time. The Pack, the Boys or the Broncos would show up and the place would almost or completely sell out with their fans. Those were the days. I'ne seen the new stadium from the outside, but I have never entered. Looks pretty cool, like a big coiled snake. It is a new world.

It's even harder now being a Cowboy's fan living in Phoenix. At least the Cardinals outsted the Eagles. 61 years is quite a drought, but nothing compared to those poor, pathetic Cubbies. Since the Cowboy's are out...go Cardinals!
