Below are a few examples of what I have seen so far:
(I have no idea what is inside. Fire gutted it in 1964 and the inside was rebuilt in the 70's)
Bairro Alto and Estrela
(Hill trolley. The Bairro Alto area is not flat and has many hills and steap roads.)
Not Dubai
(This lady was all over town on bus stops and rolling billboards. This is her horizonal. Very nice.)
(View from atop the Elevador de Santa Justa, it was a great view of major downtown area)
(Lower Lisbon central market district. I stayed in this area, it is all cobble stone.)
(Jeronimos Monastery, it is now an Archaeological Museum, the church was awesome)
(bull fighting ring)
Today it is raining and I was unable to see the Castle and some other things. I will be back. But next time I will bring a Portuguese translater. Lucky for me that will be an easy thing to do. The food has been good and nothing special. Lots of sea food but nothing the Japanese can't do better. I had a pork dish last night that was a plate of "everything pork." It was very good. Super Bock is the local beer of choice. It is basically Heineken but a bit less bitter. I posted a few videos. I came here in the winter, I know that in the spring this place would be even more beautiful. I am in a cheap hotel, there are a few nice places I have seen, they are up on the high ground.
