The ‘second season’ starts today for the two Arizona Pac-10 schools. The battle for the Territorial Cup is today. This is no joke.
Rudy is looking to go 4 and 0 again Geraldo. I can see it happening in a big way. The game is in Tucson which is too bad, just because all the ASU fans have to look out for battery chuckers that are Arizona students. They are a class act down there. The away locker room is very small and painted pink. This is how they treat their guest. Not enough showers. Etc. At Sun Devil stadium the visitors are in an NFL locker room. But that is because ASU hosts National Championship games. Anyway…
Rudy is going to get popped. A few times. Sometimes legal and sometimes not. The Catz want his head. I am at peace with that, I just hope they stay in the rules of the game. I don’t really know too much about Arizona football this year except they started hot and that they’re 6-5 and the last game they played was Nov 22nd and they choked big time. They have a sour taste in their mouth. I believe the winner of this game goes to the Las Vegas bowl. But more importantly, the winner gets the Territorial Cup.
Prediction:
It is unfortunate but there has been a dirty flavor in this game, and it reached its acme a few years back and there has been a serious effort to clean it up. The refs will have flags in hand at kick off. I hope no ill will against the players of U of A, I just don’t want them to win. Let’s keep it clean boys.
Rudy gets sacked a few times and we will not run very far. We are a very bad running team. It does not leave too much to lean on, but this is a rivalry game. If we get one TD through the air we could win the game. If it comes in the first half, then we will win by more than one score. My guess is a very low scoring first half, and kickers play a big role for both teams. Our defense is finally growing up and they got us the victory last game because the Bruins shut down our offense. The Devils need luck, no penalties and turnovers.

SEC Championship Game
The University of Alabama vs the University of Florida
This is almost he National Championship game. This is number 1 versus number 2. The Gators lost to Ole Miss and have never looked back, but it did happened. Bama is undefeated. The game is in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome. A place that Florida likes to play in, I believe they are undefeated there. Something college students believe in.
The Gators are a scoring machine and the Tide is shutting people down. It is a great matchup. Really good O versus really good D. This is not news, this is common knowledge, I am not some guru, but a number of people who read this blog don’t follow football. Long story short, this is one of the biggest games in college football in a number of years. The BCS 1 and 2, the winner in all likelihood will pay Oklahoma. There are other crazy scenarios that can put SC in but I don’t see it happening. This game will be watched by all of Dixie and anyone else who follow the game. Alabama is ranked number 1 but is a 10 point underdog. Vegas knows what it is talking about. The Tide does not roll.
