Since one game was between two California schools the best we could do is 7 and 1 and we did.
Very nice. Now Brent I know you love your Aztecs, but you have to get on an airplane and fly to South Bend. Not looking good right now. But(!), I am a firm believe that every team in the county improves the most between their first and second games. This is the Domers first game as a home opener. Touch Down Jesus will not be happy if the pagans come in and pull it out, but it won’t really bother me all that much. Good luck.

California beat Michigan State 38-31
Southern California beat Virginia 52-7
UCLA beat Tennessee 27-24 in OT
Fresno State beat Rutgers 24-7
San Jose St. beat UC Davis 13-10
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo beat San Diego State 29-27 (What?!)
Oh yea, the Devils and the Gators won too. Oh baby. Nice first weekend. Everybody jump on their prefered bandwagon now. We all look pretty good at this point.

Hey it was quite a surprise to see the Blimp up and about on Monday night over the RoseBowl. And the reason it was such a surprise...no traffic on the 210. I mean zero, zip, nada. I know I drove both was after dinner at SoupPlantation.
