Ray busts out some extra words, making it happen like a rap star. The big, big difference of course is that Ray has a total wealth of talent and is a gifted human being.

I am man enough to say as I sit here, way over here, I shead a tear by the time this ended. This is my second 4th out of the country. The other was in Budapest, Hungry. I have not seen a US flag in the flesh as far as I can recall for at least two months. The next time some jackass tells you he does not like flag waving hard core patriotic Americans, tell him or her to shove a stick of there ass and go hang out oversea for 3 months. They don't even have to enlist. Just go to any country that is not the States and get by for awhile. I guarantee when they see an American flag for the first time on a car, or on a shirt or in a window you will stop and stare and wonder who it belongs too. You will want to connect.
I know this. I know what am talking about.
I miss the states this weekend. I have been fighting it. I will keep my head up and fight. This job is hard. The conditions are hard. I work 8 to 7. I am not having the success I am used to.
I have one request to all that read this post today.
Shut up and smile. It is not so bad.
Trust me.
I just looked out the balconey to confirm. It is hot as shit, it is humid as hell and they are pouring concrete at 10:45 at night and will untill that building is done. They are Indian and Pakistani mostly. They work their ass of for chump change. They take naps on card board that is layed on the sidewalks. Then they go back to work. They are all men with family overseas. They all wait and wait and wait till late hour into the night to get the bus ride home.
Shut up and smile. It is not so bad.
If you don't believe in God than thank the Sun and Moon becuase somebody bless your fat ass. Fools born in the upper peninsula of Michigan are luck mother fuckers. Try Colombo, Sri Lanka as a home town and when you turn 40 log on and check out your 401k and see what comes up.
This was written for you to relfect, not to feel guilty. There is enough guilt in the world. You have no obligation to free Tibet. Just say grace every night before dinner and mean it. Know your history. And remember to invest in the future generations of the family and believe it to be the most noblest of goal put before us.

Hey Cousin Bill, it's Cuz Ali. I've been tuning in to your blog and thought I'd finally leave a message for the 4th of July weekend.
The 4th was awesome. Spent it in Mission Bay drinking the California State Beverage-Margaritas. I love So Cal.
I start the Police Academy for San Diego PD in two weeks. Super excited.
We think of you often in the Ginn Household and hope you are getting the most of your experience.
Will write again soon.
Love,
Ali
Cool videos. Please no more driving videos. Don't want to hear that you had another visit to the police station.
Always proud to be an American!
Loretta
Billy,
Flag and Stetson shirts on their way.
