No I not Australian. That seems to be the consensus over here. People at work, guys in shops, I am 3 for 3 from Australia. Are you from Australia? No, I am from Los Angeles. You look Australian. That is not an insult, but personally I don’t really find it true. I am not athletic enough for starters.
I went into another crazy mall that is part of Festival City. It is next to IKEA and did not even know it was there. It is about 70% complete. Is has a water front and all kinds of shops. A Mark by Mark Jacobs with more apparel than handbags. I found the watch I want. I am still shopping but I think I will stick with that one. I don’t want to buy another one for awhile so it needs to be a classic and clean. I am slowly upgrading my wardrobe. Katie was right.
Last night I ate some food that had gone bad. It was sandwich meat in my fridge I did not sleep well. I just kept drinking water. I woke up and I was sore all over and it felt like I had thrown up, my chest muscles inside were all sore. So I did what any good American would do to clean out the system. I went to T.G.I. Fridays and had a Tennessee Glaze Cheeseburger. I do feel better. It took a while but I put some red meat through the system, something I have cut back on and everything is hunky dory. I do want to make clear that everybody and I mean everybody at Fridays we wearing more then minimum required number of flair items. There was complete buy in by the entire staff. I have not seen anyone do the Makaraina in a while. Let alone a dozen TCN’s. (Third Country Nationals)

I wore my Dodger shirt and USA Soccer hat at the Mall. I usually don’t advertise Nationality, but today I did. I was still mistaken for an Aussie.
YouTube did not like my other videos because they were too long. So I made some new ones. They are shorter but they are new. Visibility this afternoon again went to next to nothing with the sand and dust in the air so no afternoon videos. Humidity is high but not as high as a few days ago.
I hope everyone today Grills up at least 3 different animals that Noah saved for us to enjoy. The news from here looks like the entire state is on fire so be careful out there.
I found a bar in the Palace Hotel which is a long walk in the heat but similar to the old walk form my old place to Carmine’s. It is called the Left Bank. It is on the left side of the hotel around the lake that will soon be all around the Burj. They guys at the door are classic West Hollywood, dark Euro types, British babe runs the place. It is staffed my 20 Filipinos and a 2 or 3 Euros who can actually mix drinks.
I am really excited to find a local hang out. The one drink I have had in the place was good Vodka for 30 Dirhams. So for the location, not too expensive. So for the 4th for me I am going to go hang with the Euros and maybe find a Yankee and have a few. Which actually feel about right. I just want to have a normal night out at a local hang out.
Enjoy the tennis with Uncle Rich. My money is on the Williams girl.

July 4th happens to be my lovely wife's birthday. So that means fireworks on her birthday every year! Starlight Bowl fireworks this year.

BTW, how are you stocked for mp3s? I recognize that you may not have been able to bring your CDs and such. I may have to put on my eye patch and Norwegian blue parrot shoulder bird and make you a care package.
